The Bent County Dispatch Center is a joint communications center, serving both Bent and Kiowa Counties.
All non-emergent and emergency calls for Law Enforcement, Fire and medical for Bent and Kiowa County are routed through the Dispatch center. Dispatch also answer day to day phone calls for all agencies in both of the two counties.
The Dispatch center is staffed with one Sergeant and seven Deputies. The Dispatch center is manned 24 hours a day. All emergency providers work closely with Dispatch to insure all emergencies are handled in a proper and timely fashion.
The Dispatch Center also serves as master control for the Bent County Jail. The Dispatch Division also manages the Front Office of the Bent County Sheriff's Office.
