PATROL DIVISION
The Patrol Division is comprised of 11 members.
The Patrol Lieutenant is responsible for overall operations of the Patrol Division.
Two Sergeants serve as Team Leaders and supervise day to day Operations.
Patrol has one K9 Handler, the Las Animas Schools SRO and 6 Deputies
The Patrol Division provides 24 hour Law Enforcement Services within all of Bent County, including the City of Las Animas. Members of the Patrol Division are on duty 24 hours a day. We strive to provide the best Law Enforcement and community services possible.
The Las Animas School District and the Sheriff's Office partnered to provide a School Resource Officer providing higher quality service for the School District.
Deputies respond to all emergency calls within Bent County, to include fire and Ambulance calls, to assist the volunteer agencies.
