UNDERSHERIFF TURNER

UNDERSHERIFF WICK TURNER

Turner was born and raised in Las Animas, Bent County, Colorado. Turner graduated the Las Animas High School in 2009 and graduated from Pueblo Community College with a welding certificate in 2011. Upon graduation Turner worked for his family farm. In 2014, Turner was hired by the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office as a Posse Deputy.

In the Spring of 2016, Turner graduated the Otero Junior College Law Enforcement Training Academy and served as a POST certified Deputy until the end of 2018. On January 8, 2019 Turner was appointed as the Undersheriff of Bent County.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CITATION

In 2014, Turner was awards the Distinguished Service Citation for volunteering 453 Hours of service as Posse Member to the Community.
